#COMPANY OF HEROES 2 CAMPAIGN GUIDE M ISSION 3 SERIES#
It’s more of change than the Call of Duty series has every year, and people still play that like crazy. If you are a classic fan of the series and you’re only interested in the multi-player, it’s hard to say if you’ll find enough here invest in this if you already played the first. This time around there are all new maps and units, which is enough to make me want to play the same style of game. It plays out the same as in the first game, either with players fighting over control points or simply trying to demolish each other. It’s what gave the first game such a long life, and it’s just as solid in the sequel. There is a competitive multiplayer, of course. While right now all of the battles focus on the year 1941, Relic has stated that it plans on adding more content later. When the ice breaks beneath the Stug, the mission ends.I was always faced with some form of a choice with each unit. Do this very quickly or its AP rounds will decimate your infantry. When the enemy Stug appears on the ice, quickly bombard it with mortar fire, breaking teh ice beneath its hull. Guard your right flank with at least one half-track.

Use the Mortar ability to repel the enemy counter-attacks. When you attack the enemy base, lead off with your half-tracks, and get your men near the fires as quickly as possible. Requisition the three half-tracks you'll find scattered along your route. Use their flares to illuminate distant areas and pick off German troops, then sprint your soldiers to warmer shelter. Head north after meeting them, then circle west. The second group of fires is an ambush, but a rescue party of Snipers will arrive in a scripted event and save your troops. To protect your troops, use the campfires scattered around the battlefield, or shelter them inside of buildings and vehicles.Īdvance through the battlefield. The blizzard conditions in Mission 4 are a threat to every infantry unit you control.
